1. TOUR SUMMARY
• Understanding the concept of capturing fine art landscape and nature photography
• Understanding visual design and composition
• Learning how to find unique compositions in the field
• Mastering special techniques such as focus stacking, exposure blending, and panorama merging
• Working with light and its effects
• Understanding the methodology behind long exposure and Astro/night photography
• Learning when, where, and how to use various filters
• Developing improvisation skills for shooting under different weather conditions
2. DISCLAIMER
• The tour is subject to weather conditions.
• In unfavorable weather, alternative plans (Plan B) will be made. These may turn out to be even
better than the original plan.
3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
• A deposit of 1.500 EUR can be transferred to a different tour.
• A full refund will be issued if a replacement is found and the tour is fully booked.
Refund Policy for the Full Payment (Required 90 days before the tour start date):
• More than 60 days before the start date: 70% refund
• 45 days before the start date: 35% refund
• 30 days before the start date: 15% refund
• Less than 30 days: no refund.
Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for the original payment.
The refund will be initiated within 72 hours of the approved request, but transaction fees or currency
differences may reduce the amount refunded.
4. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS
In consideration of the services provided by the Workshop Leaders, including their officers, employees,
agents, and affiliates, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
I understand that the activity I am about to undertake, which includes landscape and nature photography
in various outdoor environments, involves inherent risks that cannot be eliminated. The Workshop Leaders
have taken reasonable precautions to ensure safety and provide the necessary equipment, but these risks
are a natural part of the experience.
Some of the risks associated with this activity include, but are not limited to:
1.Environmental Hazards:
•Weather-related Risks: Exposure to extreme weather conditions such as storms, lightning, high winds,
and sudden temperature changes (either hot or cold), which may lead to heatstroke, hypothermia,
or exhaustion.
• Terrain and Physical Hazards: Hiking over rugged, uneven, or slippery terrain, leading to falls,
sprains, fractures, muscle strains, or injuries resulting from trips, slips, or falling from heights.
•Water-related Risks: Risks of drowning, injury, or illness related to exposure to lakes, rivers,
or ocean water, especially in remote locations where access to immediate help may be limited.
2.Health Risks:
•Physical strain, exhaustion, or dehydration due to the demands of long hikes, heavy equipment,
or exposure to challenging conditions.
•Medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, or other physical health conditions that could
arise from the physical activity involved in the tour.
•Risk of infection or illness due to environmental factors, including bacteria in water sources or
exposure to plants and wildlife.
3.Injury to Photography Equipment:
•Damage to or loss of personal photography gear or equipment due to environmental factors,
accidental drops, or other unpredictable events during the tour.
4.Wildlife Interaction:
•While unlikely, there may be a potential risk of encounters with wildlife, which could lead to injury.
I acknowledge that I am aware of such risks and will take appropriate caution during the tour.
5.Unforeseen Risks:
•I acknowledge that there may be other unforeseen or unpredictable risks not explicitly mentioned
above, but that could still result in injury, damage, or loss. These risks may arise from circumstances
that are out of the control of the Workshop Leaders.
Despite the inherent risks involved, I freely choose to participate in this activity. I acknowledge that
it is my responsibility to evaluate my own physical condition, skill level, and personal safety. I further
acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily and fully aware of the risks, hazards, and physical
demands of this tour.
I also understand that the Workshop Leaders have provided detailed information about the nature
of the activity, and I have had the opportunity to ask questions regarding the risks involved.
5. INSURANCE REQUIREMENT
Participants are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers personal injury, accident,
illness, and damage to or loss of personal equipment during the tour. The insurance must also cover
emergency medical expenses, evacuation, and repatriation in case of unforeseen circumstances.
